Brainchild Achievement Center Opens New Office in June

Brainchild Achievement Center opened it's new office on June 1, 2009. This was an exciting and long-anticipated move which allows for more dedicated space to treat children with neurobehavioral disorders.

With the opening of this new office, we are now officially separate from Chiropractic Neurology Center. Dr. Brad Ralston still checks your child's progress and meets with them during each weekly session, however, he is not adjusting them. If you would like your child to be seen by Dr. Ralston for chiropractic reasons, please make an appointment with his office, CNC. Their phone number is 317-848-6000.

Another change that comes along with the opening of our new center is in the area of insurance. Brainchild Achievement Center is cash only, therefore we do not take insurance. This has been a necessary change due to the changes that are happening in the health insurance field.

Brainchild Hosts Indianapolis Interactive Metronome Training

In August, Brainchild Achievement Center  was host to Interactive Metronome's Indianapolis Provider Certification Course. Interactive Metronome (IM) is used to help children with learning and developmental disorders as well as adult neuro rehabilitation patients. IM is a neuromotor assessment and treatment tool used in therapy to improve motor planning and sequencing. Brainchild has 4 staff members certified in IM.

Brainchild Offers The Listening Program Auditory Therapy

The Listening Program (TLP) has been added to our auditory therapies. Halloween Candy Alternatives

Halloween and Fall Festivals are fast approaching and for many kids, this means lots and lots of candy. Even though your child is to avoid sugar don't feel like they will be missing out on the fun. There are many fun alternatives to candy. Consider fall / Halloween stickers, pencils, yo-yos, bouncing balls, mini flashlight keychains or mini bubbles. Be creative and we thank you for keeping your child's health in mind and other parents will likely thank you too!
